April, 2022 - 100 mile Challenge: Participants must walk 100 miles during the month of April to meet their fitness goals.

May, 2022 - Challenge: Weight 120 minutes. Participants must perform 120 minutes of weight-bearing exercises per week to meet their fitness goals

June, 2022 - 3 Mile 30 Challenge. Participants must walk 3 miles or perform a focused workout for 30 minutes per day 5 times a week.

June 19 - Health Awareness booth, Juneteenth event. Back to Living will feature health and nutrition pamphlets and demonstrate different dance styles for the promotion of health education and mental well-being.

Program Mission
Back to Health is a program that is designed to help members of our society maintain or improve well-being through proper diet, exercise, stress management, and illness prevention. It includes, but is not limited to weight loss education, fitness challenges, and is linked to our core competency, which is dance; dance is an outlet for emotional expression, stress reduction and creativity that is known to improve mood and focus.

Increasing awareness of and encouraging the increased usage of workplace wellness programs that already offer resources and introduces interactive ways for employees/community members to improve their health and well-being.

Back to health is committed to finding new fun, engaging, and resources to meet the ever-changing wants of the community – because we know that an engaged community is more likely to stay active in the continued pursuit of health.
